Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data is handled on respectfulmigration.org.

1. Controller

Humanity Solutions (KvK 71110178) is the single controller for this site and its sister sites (Sumnetics, Summanity, Summanitism, Humanity Games, Respectful Migration, Restructuring Supply Chains, High Ground Acquisitions, Improve Water Governance, Improving Citizen Participation, Investing in Africans, Aspiration Platform, Heat Protection Solutions, Water Protection Club, Improving Online Public Services, Bankruptcy Bargains, Data Exchange Platform). Messages from all sites are kept in one inbox and are used only to reply to you.

2. The Five-Party Check

The check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and result are not sent to us or stored.

3. Contact forms

When you send a form on this site, Humanity Solutions (KvK 71110178, Hamerstraat 67D, 2512 CX The Hague) is the sole controller of your data. We use your name, email, message and any form answers to handle and reply to your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Marketing updates are sent by email only if you tick the separate optional box (Art. 6(1)(a)); unsubscribe via the link in every mail or by emailing connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.

Submissions are processed in the Google Workspace account used by Humanity Solutions (trade name Foresight Transitions). Google is our processor; transfers to the US are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

Humanity Solutions runs several brands and websites. Your submission may be shared across Humanity Solutions brands where needed to handle your request. It is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

4. Processors

  • Hostinger: website hosting (server logs).
  • Google (Google Workspace: Sheets, Apps Script, email): processing of form submissions, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Retention

  • Form submissions and email correspondence: 12 months after our last contact with you (automatic monthly clean-up). This includes marketing opt-ins, unless your address has been moved to a mailing tool that has its own privacy notice.
  • Server logs: according to Hostinger's retention policy.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing. Send your request to connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net. Please do not use the contact form for these requests.

7. Complaints

You can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
